This is a question that has been around for a very long time because people are not able to reach a conclusion. There are so many promising facts about bananas but people lack that knowledge. Banana is a fruit which is labeled as fatty because of the amount of calories it has. Well no doubt that bananas constitute great amounts of calories but there is a way and a method that states how and when to consume a thing for specific results. Will you believe me if I say that bananas can be used as a miracle food in weight loss? I know it is very hard to believe because you might be thinking right now what solid proof do I have to prove my point. Well to assure you with the information I am about to give you I say that I have experimented my own diet with bananas on a major level especially for weight loss so everything I say is based on my personal experience, you need not worry about the credibility. Many people have this particular question in their mind that says : Can bananas make you lose weight? Yes it can, we say that a banana has an intense amount of calories in it but being on a weight loss diet doesn’t mean that you have to starve yourself. You still need to intake a proper calorie amount. It would be best to consume those calories from an item that is healthy instead of munching onto the so called “diet products” we see in the market nowadays. The first rule of healthy dieting is to stay away from packaged food items because no matter what they do and not matter what you assume, packaged food items contain a lot of preservatives which do not have a record of showing good effects on our body. So when we are considering good calories you better choose a banana over any other junk or so called packaged diet food stuff.
I have seen many people even in my close proximity who just eat whenever they feel like. Most of the people get surprised by the fact that timings of your meal intake play a huge role. Yes guys the time also plays a big role in deciding how an edible item reacts with our body. It might come out as a surprising fact for you but consuming food items at different times of the day can actually decide if those calories are gonna make you fat or help you shed some pounds.

Bananas have a low glycemic index (it is a number that ranges from 0 to 100 which is assigned to foods with carbohydrates to monitor how high the glucose levels go after their consumption) and it is always advisable to consume fruits that have low glycemic index.
If you happen to be hungry and have an option of eating outside consider eating a banana instead of munching on junk food because it will keep you full for a longer period of time and you need to make some healthy choices for your body for it to be in a healthy working state. So if you want to lose weight then make sure to keep these things in mind.
For weight loss:
- Never ever consume bananas after having a meal.
- You need to consume banana on an empty stomach for shedding weight
- There should be a gap of at least 30 minutes in between banana and any other meal
- It is advisable to consume fruits (not just banana but any fruit) before noon, say before 2 pm for your reference.
- It is better to stick to one banana a day keeping in mind the calorie intake

As I provide this information I would like to mention that it’s been 7 months that I have been having one banana (in the form of smoothie) everyday empty stomach in the morning and I have seen insane results in context to weight loss. Having just bananas and skipping exercises and other diet rules won’t help you in any way. But from personal experience I can assure you that including bananas in your morning meal combined with proper workout routine can help you increase the pace of your weight loss.

I don’t think I need to intrust people on how to gain weight using bananas but make sure to cross check your consumption goals with the below point.
- You can include more than more than one banana in your daily diet for facilitating weight gain.
- You do not need to consume it on an empty stomach for weight gain.
- You can consume bananas anytime before 2 pm.
Food is a fuel for our body now just imagine that you are at a petrol pump. You have a set capacity to define how much fuel can your vehicle carry at any given point of time. Now I say try getting in some extra fuel so that we don’t have to stop for it again. That sounds crazy right, this is exactly what I feel when I see people munching onto things anytime they like during the day and even during night times. Your stomach is no dustbin for you to just keep consuming endless food just because you had nothing fun to do. So even if you are planning on gaining healthy weight do that sensibly with right food sources.
